The transmission of Full HD-resolutions at distances of over 20.0 m using HDMI™ cables requires a little something extra – namely, a built-in signal amplifier. To ensure optimal transmission of audio and video signals, the cable only works in one direction. When connecting, please note that the connector with the arrow pointing in the direction of the cable must be connected to the transmitter, e.g. a laptop. The connection where the arrow points in the direction of the plug must be connected to the receiver, for example a monitor. That is, the cable carries the signal amplification required when travelling to refresh the signal, thus allowing you to experience videos or presentations over greater distances, with perfect clarity, in high resolution and with stunning brilliance – and in 3D, of course.
